Firewire Ethernet Umsetzer Which Internet Connection Is Faster, Ethernet, Or FireWire?

Which internet connection is faster, Ethernet, or FireWire? - firewire ethernet umsetzer

I currently use Ethernet, but I wonder if I firewire switch, so it is faster than Ethernet. In addition, the modem only has slots for Ethernet cable, as I will be connected via FireWire? Thank you.

FireWire is not on the Internet, FireWire ports for USB. keep their existing Ethernet faster.

Broadband Internet is the speed of the slowest part of the connection - often beyond the control of suppliers. Independent (the speed at home and I say without taking into account - but it could) increase the speed of Ethernet to a factor of one million euros, the record is never faster than the speed at which you buy from his supplier.

And 100 Mbps Ethernet (1000 Mbit / s or if you have a Gigabit Ethernet), there is already much faster than 1 Mbps or 3 Mbps to 5 Mbps - 25 Mbps, even -- the connection that you have.

Think of it as a multi-lane road with infinitely high walls on each side. They drive an old Chevy Beat. There is a horse-drawn carriages in front of you, and it is simply impossible. Now you tell me how fast you would if Chevrolet has changed in a Bugatti.

FireWire is similar to a standard USB port, and was not developed specifically for network communication. It was designed primarily to storage media such as hard drives and video cameras, where a large amount of information to be transmitted to communicate.

Used Lately, however, has developed a new FireWire FireWire S800T (IEEE 1394C-2006), where the cable is used, the same CAT 5 cable for Ethernet connections, so technically, have the same bandwidth capacity theory, but at the time no products that support this standard.

Long story short, because technically there is no difference in the bandwidth, and since Ethernet connections generally allow current levels and is actually available to stay with what you have.

Regardless, first, whether the modem only slots for Ethernet, always perseveres. Secondly, it is not where the bottleneck is, Ethernet is fast enough for the Internet, your modem is usually the problem. Finally, you get a 400 Mbps and 800 Mbps FireWire. With the Ethernet 100 Mbit / s and 1000 Mbit / s connection. The modem will probably use 100 Mb / s, which is good.
